Saudi women to look like pirates

Saudi Arabia sure is keeping up with the times.
A Muslim cleric in Saudi Arabia has called on women to wear a full veil, or niqab, that reveals only one eye. Sheikh Muhammad al-Habadan said showing both eyes encouraged women to use eye make-up to look seductive. More on BBC.
This is a good idea, undoubtedly. I suggest using a simple eyepatch while the country slowly transitions to the one-eyed veil. It sure does look like trendy, comfortable clothing in the hot deserts.

A few weeks back Sheikh Salih Ibn al-Luhaydan, the most senior judge in Saudi, said it is permissible to kill the owners of satellite TV channels which broadcast immoral programmes. The judge made the comments on a state radio programme. The fatwa, or edict, was made during a radio program called Light in the Path. Indeed. LA Times, BBC.
Seriously. ****.
